Overview
The Senior Application Security Engineer plays a pivotal role in green fielding next-generation solutions for application security. Your work will significantly impact our global developer community and enhance the security posture of thousands of applications. You will be responsible for developing full-stack web applications, custom middleware, and leveraging cloud technologies to fully integrate tools into CI/CD pipelines.
You're a part of a 3-person application security team in Poland with a manager in our site in Plano, Texas.

Responsibilities
What are your daily tasks?
· you're leading the development and implementation of innovative, full-stack solutions
· you're creating a software system for automating application security testing using various SAST and DAST tools
· you're implementing and integrating generative AI technology to revolutionize application security
· you're playing a crucial role in shaping the security framework and practices within the organization, impacting thousands of developers and a multitude of applications globally
· you're engaging in continuous research to stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in application security and software development
Technologies & tools we use:
Microsoft Azure, GitHub, SAST/DAST (Snyk, SonarQube, Fortify), container security, secret scanning, API security, WebInspect, IAST, Python, Javascript/Typescript, Go
Qualifications
What will you bring to the team?
· 3-4 years of relevant experience
· working experience in Python / Java / C / C++ or any modern programming languages
· experience in full-stack development
· exceptional problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative mindset
· excellent communication and collaboration skills
· ability to work autonomously
