Overview
This role provides Food Safety and Quality systems leadership for both beverage and foods businesses. It will support the implementation of key strategic initiatives, global and sector-led to ensure compliance to all quality & food safety criteria, providing oversight and governance to ensure all manufacturing sites are producing safe, legal and quality products that meet PEP and local regulatory requirements to protect our consumers and the PEP brand. It interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders within the business to drive and ensure compliance to all PEP requirements. It will provide systems and metrics to evaluate progress and alignment of Sector to PepsiCo Food Safety Policies and Quality Standards.
Responsibilities
· Develop strategies and align with AMENA Sector to execute implementation of the PepsiCo Food Safety Policies & Quality Systems.
· Develop metrics to benchmark and measure compliance and sustainability for Quality and Food Safety programs.
· Support AMESA Food Safety Program & Quality Systems rollout, capability building, verification and best practices, ensuring harmonized program implementation.
· Ensure systems and programs are in place to develop and nurture a sustainable AMESA Food Safety culture.
· Proactively identify and analyze AMESA Food Safety & Quality risks and define control options to minimize the risks.
· Provide SME functional support to establish best practices in regards to food safety and quality systems for existing products, ingredients, processes, and product innovations.
· Collaborate in global working groups and support PepsiCo global councils that define and influence Food Safety Policies & Quality Programs based on corporate objectives and that are aligned with AMESA Sector.
· Leverage and influence key AMESA Third parties and Vendors in support of PepsiCo Food Safety & Quality Initiatives
