Main Purpose:

The Vendor Data Design and MDG expert will be responsible for functional delivery of Vendor master data requirements within the extent of Data Conversions, Master Data Governance (MDG), and across other related solutions as part of ESSA Enterprise First Wave 1 implementation in UK, Poland, GBIN and ESSA HQ.

The objective of this role is to ensure that the business processes implemented for Vendor master data maintenance (workflows, screens, data rules) result in high quality master data records that support transaction and reporting business processes and other data requirements in SAP and legacy systems.

Accountabilities:

·  Lead design of the Vendor masterdata related processes for all markets in scope of the project leveraging Global template design, including understanding impacts to existing PepsiCo master data business process solutions already in place, and offering alternatives for flexibility, optimization, simplification.
·  Partner with the SAP MDG functional leads and specialists to translate Vendor business process requirements into flexible functional and technical solution.
·  Partner with Data Conversion team to ensure Vendor and related masterdata migration plan and approach is in place, support data quality rules design, data validation and testing.
·  Provide SAP S/4 Vendor master data process documentation to SAP Master Data Governance team.
·  Collaborate with multiple Agile scrum teams to deliver an optimized end-to-end solution based on Global Template leveraging agile methodology.
·  Define and develop user stories and critical test scenarios for major configurable variances in the Vendor master maintenance process.
·  Lead test execution and issue resolution for Vendor masterdata processes test scenarios.
·  Provide business training on Vendor masterdata solutions.
·  Participate in all Sprint planning, execution, retrospectives and other key ceremonies

Qualifications/Requirements

Key skills/experience required:

·  Experience in supporting and deploying SAP ERP (ECC) implementations, with an ideal focus on a key area functional area (e.g. modules such as SD, GP, MM, PP, IM/WM, PM, QM)
·  Experience in a dedicated Data role, preferably on the SAP ERP platform, with a focus on the Vendor Master functional area. Specific knowledge and expertise of the SAP Procure to Pay design would be an advantage.
·  SAP MDG experience is a plus.
·  Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments (including at a global or corporation-wide level)
·  Ability to understand complex functional and IT requirements, and be able to identify and offer multiple solution options to facilitate the best outcome
·  Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts, and provide clear documentation to the management and executive leadership, and across multiple geographies
·  Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences, deal with ambiguity, and succeed against in a high-pressure environment
·  Knowledge and experience in the Agile Methodology and related tools (such as MS VSTS) desired
·  Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
·  Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+ , MS VSTS, Quality Center and MS Project
·  Bachelor’s degree required
