Overview
PepsiCo Graduate Programme is 2 year program designed for high potential graduate students, just like you, into real life business impact roles – with the goal to best prepare you for a successful future. We are now looking to hire an R&D SRA Graduate to join the team in Cork, Ireland starting next year for the duration of 2 years, starting in September 2024.

· We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi.
· We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands.
· We are a global organisation, situated in 15 locations across 6 countries offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR and IT.

Responsibilities
Position Purpose and Primary Accountabilities
Support R&D Chemical Regulatory Affairs Team for Global initiatives.
· Support obligations under chemical hazard communication regulations
· Support the Global Harmonized System of labelling of concentrated flavours and technical ingredients for beverage and food use
· Support the review of Safety Data Sheets to ensure compliance with regulations across the globe
· Assess regulatory parameters for new innovations in a timely manner using internal systems
· Support execution of global strategies/policies to ensure regulatory compliance
· Work with Procurement, PGCS innovation, supply chain, operation team to ensure chemical regulatory compliance
· Collaborate with the network of GHS/Hazardous Material Coordinators at facilities globally
· Support regulatory queries related to chemical hazard communication from global manufacturing and distribution locations
Qualifications
Essential Criteria i.e. qualifications and/or experience (this will be assessed during short-listing)
· Graduate in Food Science /Chemistry / Microbiology / Engineering or related discipline.
· Good knowledge of basic Chemistry
· High degree of initiative, drive, and motivation – working independently as well as a team player.
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written
· Strong interest in Global Regulatory Affairs
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
· Excellent people skills with the ability to work well with others.
· Flexible working style - able to deal with uncertainty and complexity.
