To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for Quality Systems Coordinator (10-month FTC). This role will be supporting the Quality Manager in terms of leading the site in Quality compliance and Ensure procedures for all the Food Safety & Quality Management systems are understood and executed. You will also provide when required the necessary coverage for the roles of the Food Safety Co-ordinator, QA Officer & Food Safety Team Leader to ensure that compliance to system requirements is always maintained.

 

*10 month maternity leave cover.

*This role may require you to work ad hoc night shifts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:  

·  Coordinate and conduct regular verification tasks relevant to the quality programs g. monthly quality systems audits, calibrations etc.
·  Coordinate the relevant training related to the quality
·  Maintain and implement any changes to the programs required to meet the current quality standard requirements.
·  Provide the site management team the relevant consumer complaint data and trends in order for the correct root cause analysis to be performed to avoid recurrences.
·  Comply with the site Anti-Contamination and GMP policies to ensure the quality of Quaker Oats Australia product is
·  Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of our people.
·  Undertake all duties in accordance with company environmental policies and procedures, and support continual improvement in environmental systems and performance as outlined in annual
·  Required to cover lab technician role when required. This may require to work ad hoc night shifts
·  10 month maternity leave cover.
Qualifications

About you:  

·  Good time management skills, with the ability to supervise in such a manner to achieve optimum performance of team members, through training, motivation and 'leading by example'.
·  Good report writing
·  Good project management
·  Good PC
·  Excellent communication
·  Knowledge of processing and packaging equipment
·  Experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of Food Safety & Quality management systems (HACCP, AIBI, OSHA/ASHA, FSSC 22000 and GMP).
·  At least three years in a food manufacturing environment
·  Demonstrated experience in working with team
·  Tertiary Qualifications with a Food Science Focus is desirable but non-essential
