·  The Commercial Manager (Business Development Manager) role is responsible to manage the Quaker commercial & business development agenda end to end delivering AOP volume, Revenue, NOPBT, and market share targets across the 2 CU’s
·  He/She leads and streamlines the relationship and workstreams among Quaker cross functional team & stakeholders to deliver the business objectives
·  He/She builds system capability across the value chain
Responsibilities

·  AOP delivery and development : Developing the Quaker ME BU AOP & delivering Quaker ME Vol/NR/Nobpt/Share targets
·  Commercialization agenda : Delivering the End-to-End commercialization agenda aligned with the 3 ME CU’s, extending support and building capability
·  Activation : Translating the Marketing calendar and brand plans into local, market/channel specific plans and in-store solutions in alignment with CU’s
·  Forecast consolidation & Sharing : Consolidating the 3 ME CU’s rolling forecast, sharing and aligning with ME BU SC team
·  Innovations agenda : Working closely with Marketing & Commercialization team, aligning the Innovations agenda with the CU’s and developing market launch plans
·  D&A/ Trade support & Consumer promotions : Allocating annual D&A budgets by CU/Category and supporting in top 3 market planning  
·  NRM agenda : Leading and aligning the NRM agenda with the ME CU’s and ensuring flawless implementation
·  Best practice incubation : Sharing global best practice initiatives and launch-test-scale in alignment with CU’s
·  Capability building : Developing team and distributor capability agenda
Qualifications

Education and work experience:

·  University graduate
·  At least 10 years sales/commercial/business development experience in a FMGC-environment
·  Marketing experience is a plus

 

Knowledge and skills (functional):

·  Demonstrates advanced knowledge of our core business processes
·  Possess strong strategic capabilities with proven hands on commercial & operational experience.
·  Demonstrates advanced knowledge in consumer goods space & food business across the value chain
·  Strong experience in P&L management & ownership
·  Strong sales & commercial background & capability of building and executing business plans
·  Develops new approaches to drive product and brand innovation
·  Develops strategic & tactical promotions & trade offers, and able to shares promotion best practices
·  Uses expertise to provide insights and sets direction for managing business agenda
·  Develops pack/price strategies leveraging understanding of consumer/customer and competition

Personal:

·  Has an analytical approach, strategic in thinking, a real problem solver, methodical and systematic in approach, organized and down to earth. Has vision and a well-developed helicopter view, able to put things in perspective.
·  Strong negotiation, persuasion skills & ability to influence others
·  Excellent communicator, persuasive, able to operate at different levels inside and outside an international organization.
·  Solid knowledge of FMCG consumers and FMCG business partners
·  Solid experience in sales across both retail & away from home
·  Result driven, enthusiastic team player, ambitious and strong analytical skills
·  Flexible towards travelling to Iraq on a regular basis, as well as other international travels
