PBNA $24.50 / hour
Must be able to sufficiently read, write and speak English due to the safety sensitivity of this role.
PepsiCo presently has openings for Production Operators at our Gatorade manufacturing facility. We are looking for individuals committed to the PepsiCo philosophies of quality, safety, customer service, productivity, and teamwork.
Production Operator responsibilities include:
· Perform an initial inspection of equipment at the start of each shift
· Perform necessary and required sanitation, necessary quality assurance checks, and ensure that equipment and tanks are clean and free of debris and foreign objects
· Maintain records/logs and complete all paperwork/documentation associated with start-up, operation, and shut-down activities
· Perform preventative and autonomous maintenance on equipment as required
· Know, understand and complete all centerlines and clean, inspect, and lubrication points for all equipment each shift
· Keep machines loaded with materials and address equipment stop conditions when needed
· Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout manufacturing areas, warehouse, and facility grounds.
· Maintain all safety standards
Production Operators must meet the following qualifications:
· 18 years or older
· High school degree or GED
· Ability to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis
· Must be capable of a combination of continuous standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
· Must be analytical, technologically competent and mechanically inclined
· Possess good oral and written communication, analytical and mechanical skills
· At least 2 years of previous production line experience in a manufacturing industry (preferably bottling or food) are preferred
· Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable)
· Interested individuals must be able to work any shift, 7 day workweek, and have a stable work history
