Compensation: 28.93/hour

Responsibilities

·  Responsible for transporting products and raw materials to and from outside warehouses and plant locations
·  Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled
·  Check and maintain fuel and fluids in PBC owned tractors on a daily basis
·  Communicate loading information to and from the Shipping Department
·  Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
·  Driving a Tractor/Trailer where required, days and times to be determined
·  Forklift operation
·  Day and Night Shift Flexibility required
·  Additional duties as assigned by manager

Shift Details:

·  All three shifts may be worked/required (days, afternoons, or nights)
·  Shifts subject to change as business needs require
Qualifications

·  A valid Class 1 Driver’s license required
·  A clean abstract as well as a proven safe driving record
·  TDG certificate
·  Ability to demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills and professional driver techniques in a highway and inter-city environment
·  High degree of written and verbal communication skills
·  Must be able to multitask safely and efficiently; Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
·  Must be able to take directions from multiple sources while performing as a team player
·  Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required
·  Dependable with strong customer focus and the ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of our internal customers.
·  Candidates will perform a proper brake adjustment, and complete a thorough Pre-trip inspection, identifying components most subject to wear.

MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·  Occasional lifting/carrying a maximum of 60 lbs
·  Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 250 lbs. (with the aid of a mechanical device).
·  Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder.
