Based out of the lower Island, you will be a pillar to the success of our growing business.  As part of our field sales team, our sales representatives are at the forefront of ensuring Pepsi’s presence on shelves and in fridges. From small independent shops to national convenience and gas, creativity, relationship building and hunger for success is at the core of each team member. A motivated and organized individual will be the ideal candidate to join this dynamic team.

Responsibilities

PepsiCo Sales Representatives contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by building relationships, executing plans, and growing sales. As a GEO Route Representative , you will be responsible for your customers needs while hitting company targets.  You will be servicing a wide-range of Small Format, Large Format and Food Service Customers throughout the region, and thus will become an expert in executional framework across all segments of the beverage industry.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities include:

·  Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
·  Merchandise product sections and build displays to stimulate sales
·  Eliminate out-of-stocks and out-of-date product through effective order taking
·  Work closely with PBC Delivery Department to ensure effective service
·  Monitor and report on competitive activity
·  Complete required paperwork and processes in an accurate and timely manner
·  Find new accounts through cold calling
·  Working with a team to analyze opportunities and create successful strategies

 

 

Required Skills, Experience and Characteristics:

·  Valid drivers licence and car
·  Availability to travel across the Island during week days
·  Partial completion or completion of a post-secondary education program at either University or College (Preferably Business)  
·  Experience with merchandising and customer service is an asset but not mandatory 
·  Demonstrating computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite and iPad 
·  Solid oral presentation skills required 
·  Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle 
·  Fact-based direct selling experience preferred 
·  Food Service or Consumer Products experience preferred
·  Team oriented & self-motivated
·  Accountable, well organized problem solver who enjoys working in a fast paced, urgent environment
·  Competitive spirit and winning attitude
·  Leadership skills and experience is an asset
