Overview

This position reports to a director and plays a pivotal role in leading a team of developers and vendor resources to design and deliver state-of-the-art frontline mobile applications. The candidate will guide and review project development using a modern software development stack (Swift, Swift UI, React) and contemporary software development processes (lean, Agile, SAFE, DevOps, CI/CD). As a lead position, collaboration with various layers of IT and business partners is essential. The role demands technical expertise in mobile development to guide developers and tech leads.

Responsibilities

·  Develop mobile applications for PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA), immediately focusing on the Sales+ project.
·  Collaborate with an onshore and offshore development team to create mobile solutions using native IOS technologies and React JS.
·  Produce high-quality code adhering to PepsiCo standards, taking direction from architects, and acting as the Technical Lead.
·  Provide technical leadership on modern sync engines like Couchbase sync.
·  Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to solution developers.
·  Work closely with the business team to gather project requirements and establish priorities.

Compensation & Benefits:

•The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 - $160,150 based on a full-time schedule
• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree.
·  10 to 15 years of design and development experience delivering solutions.
·  Practical experience developing mobile applications using native IOS technologies like Swift and Swift UI.
·  Hands-on experience in Java microservices development building RESTful APIs.
·  Ability to lead teams and projects 
·  Ability to do code reviews
·  Ability to implement proper achitectural patterns
·  Excellent communication skills.
·  Ability to thrive in an environment with multiple priorities.
·  Comfort working with ambiguities.
·  Strong organizational skills.
