Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

·  Deploy control and information systems regional audits in order to evaluate level of automation maturity, systems sustain model, adoption of new techs and people capabilities.
·  Leads the implementation of information technology systems to enable the Digitized Value Chain strategy and secure our infrastructure at manufacturing sites. Also provide support implementations of “Smart equipment” and “Auto Control” projects.
·  To maintain and develop the site’s SCADA, PLC, VFDs, MES Systems, NETWORKS and advanced control To drive initiatives in improving plant´s control
·  Provide technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) support and leadership to CSS tehnicians group in LatAm on: Networking, Equipment Integration and Data Processing, Industrial Data Centre, Wireless Technologies and Systems Implementation.
·  Manage capabilities training plan for Control Systems Specialist roles to increase and improve automation skills and knowledge in maintenance / engineering teams.
·  Manage the OT (Operational technology) hardware and software obsolescence in order to avoid cybersecurity risks and to be aligned with OT Data Strategy for Mfg 4.0.
·  Support and validate key global and regional automation initiatives and projects deployment in LatAm in order to ensure that are in compliance with control and information systems/cybersecurity standards.

Your Impact:

 

As Manufacturing innovation Expert Latam your responsibilities would consist of

·  Deploy Control & Information Systems audits in LatAm region and establish an action plan to improve automation management, increase technology capabilities in place, improve unplanned downtime due to technology breakdowns and reduce outsorced maintenance costs related to C&IS external support.
·  Develop LatAm specific playbooks for the implementation of Manufacturing Information Systems, Predictive Maintenance, DVC and Cyber Security components.
·  Engage with Field Engineering by providing technical leadership and SME support to drive design Manufacturing Execution Systems, Data Centre and Cyber Security solutions for productivity/innovation Capex initiatives, for field to project manage and execute.
·  Develop a regional control and information systems training strategy based on key technology in order to improve maintenance capabilities.
·  Implement and follow up automation scorecard in LATAM in order to detect opportunities and setup a regional benchmark.
·  Collecting of information, analyzing of (control) issues, locating of complex failures and failure causes.
·  Assessing the nature and size of problems in consultation with Work Planning, establishing whether repairs can be performed by own staff or third parties.
·  Submitting of proposals aimed at improving existing control systems and/or the expansion of process management systems.
·  Designing or modifying of control systems by performing system analyses, studying of problem definitions, formulating of definitions, flow charts and test programmes/procedures, taking into consideration prescribed standards and security frameworks.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?



Experience

·  Fully authorized and knowledgeable on electrical equipment and systems through qualifications and experience.
·  Fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems through qualifications and/or experience.
·  Excellent fault-finding skills.
·  At least 3 - 5 years experience in programming PLCs and microprocessor-based control equipment for major projects.
·  Able to demonstrate basic skills in high-level language programming.
·  Good knowledge of process and packaging technology.
·  Ability to work and modify ACAD technical drawings, Gantt charts and developing URS / playbooks
·  Thin client Architecture and Virtualization Technology (VMWare)
·  First Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
·  Comprehensive technical knowledge of Wonderware Historian and in touch software, Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and software, industrial networks, SQL programming
·  Ability to work in a constantly changing dynamic and challenging environment e.g. Ability to prioritize, cope with ambiguity and solve previously uncharted problems.
·  Cultural sensitivity/flexibility in responding to different cultures.
·  Fluent in Spanish and English Advanced (required)
·  Must be willing to travel (Frequently 50% of time)
