Responsibilities
The Opportunity
This role will manage/lead baseline operations for FLNA Legacy Supply Chain application portfolio (around 30). This will include acting as the cluster lead and partnering with managed services partners operations within Hyderabad ODC. This role will have responsibility of service level management and operational governance, ensuring in an effective and transparent way IT services are transferred to production support, making sure that policies, processes and procedures are in place to protect our operating services, assuring that any modifications or transitions to the production environment (affecting either new, modified, retiring or retired services) meet the agreed expectations of the business, customers and final users.
Your Impact.
As Manager of Operations your scope would consist of:
Day to day
IT Service Management (Incidents, Problems, Service Requests, Change Requests, Knowledge Base Articles, and Alerts)
· Perform daily standup meetings with baseline team to review scorecards and create action plans with TCS to ensure issues/incidents/problems are being managed, communicated, resolved, root cause analysis is complete, and further monitoring is happening. Also provide manual intervention and escalations as needed.
· Field input from Sites and HQ on Improvement ideas and determine if Operations can do the work.
· Assure Knowledge Base Articles are current and accommodate new ones as needed.
· Verify requests are being handled and followed up with.
Periodical
Vendor Management (Meetings, Resource staffing, Service Delivery)
· Drive managed services partners to assure they meet our expectations.
· Leverage managed services Management to identify resource deficiencies and coordinate training and education.
· Maintain a good communication line to avoid misunderstanding and proactively address issues before they become problems.
· Business Relationships
· Engage business partners regularly on system health, performance, system downtime, and additional opportunities for improvement.
Asset Currency: Stack management assessment
· Manage and maintain awareness of the Tech stack of each application, support dates, and EA standards. Plan for tech stack remediation; secure funding where required.
Security
· Review vulnerability reports and create remediation plan partnering with managed services partners. Monitor progress against the remediation plan.
· Patching activity plan communication and coordination & Server rebooting.
· Security exceptions creation, documentation, and approval coordination
Administrative
· Privilege Access & Security Controls.
· Perform quarterly access reviews. (Recertifications)
· Submit identity management (myidm) requests to add or remove access.
· Assure all security controls are in place for each application.
· Service Now CMDB (Configuration Management Database) management.
· Identity management (myidm) groups review & approvals.
· Disaster Recovery - Yearly review and updates of all DR plans
· Participate in yearly exercises to assure recovery objectives set by the business are achievable by following the procedures and strategies in place.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
1. Qualifications/Requirements
· 8-10 years project management
· 5-7+ years vendor management
· 3-5 years of people management
· Must possess an understanding of the ITIL framework
· Sound knowledge in IT Operations including infrastructure and application systems
· High-level understanding of Service Now platform capabilities
· Finance management experience 3+ years is a plus
· Client-server legacy architecture knowledge
· Oracle, Teradata database skills -Oracle, SQL
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to work in ambiguous situations
· Ability to represent complex topics verbally and visually to leadership in a concise manner
· Ability to simplify process / challenge others to think through complex process to drive simplification
