Overview

This position is responsible for providing analytical and administrative support to the PLCI Inbound business ($300MM).  The individual must be able to support the Pepsi, Gatorade, Quaker Plant and Co-pack locations, Concentrate, PLCI Inbound team, Global Procurement and external suppliers. 

 

Scope:  

Effectively manage Inbound business.  Provide issue resolution and communication to both internal and external customers.  Cover weekend daytime afterhours support as needed.

 

This person would be responsible for Inbound Raw Material movements in response to schedule needs and liaison between carriers, suppliers and plants to support proactive issue resolution on all logistics matters.

 

This role works Thursday – Monday 6pm – 6am

Responsibilities

·  Become subject matter expert for PLCI Inbound business
·  Oversee team SPA box for all BUs. Review, approve/dispute and update DMR Quickbase application
·  Provide Inbound analytical reporting  
·  Investigate and troubleshoot stakeholder reported issues and provide other support as needed    
·  Identify process streamlining opportunities and work with teams to implement process change
·  Timely issue resolution

Compensation and Benefits:

·  The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,400 - $75,550 based on a full-time schedule.
·  Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
·  Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree preferred
·  Logistics, distribution and transportation experience strongly preferred
·  Ability to effectively communicate/interact and build a favorable business relationship with carriers, plant locations, Inbound Team and Global Procurement
·  Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations
·  Ability to operate and flourish in a fast paced environment
·  Strong passion for process improvement
·  Ability to learn transportation business
·  Willingness to embrace change and all other assigned duties for the greater good of the team.
