The Opportunity
This role owns and lead Manufacturing 4.0 Vision/Strategy for LATAM focused on the End to End deployment of AI driven solution such as Packaging Digital Twin for PC & TC lines, as well as real-time interconnected performance systems to deliver consistent manufacturing performance with better costs assuring full customer satisfaction. Also this rol will be the responsible for validate required resources, investment/benefits, scheduling all test cases & real time trials and defining the new operational model needed for sustained performance after project deployment.
Smart Projects Manager will be responsible for establish and deploy collaboration workflows/strategic forums with key partners to assure both compliance with Productivity deliverables and capability for future Business Growth:
· Latam Ops Leaders/Global OPS on aligning strategic priorities focused on delivering Business objectives and new Manufacturing 4.0 vision around Digital Transformation.
· Engineering/Finance leadership for Capex plan alignment and equipment performance centerlines including Smart Equipment innovations.
· R&D for alignment on Product specifications and Stardards for new technology deployment.
Responsibilities
Your Impact
As Packaging Leader Digital Twin your scope would consist of:
· Lead packaging Digital Twin TC Replication wave 1 strategy for 6 Salty lines in LATAM (5 countries) for 2024-2026 horizon by:
· Wave 1: 4 Sites implementation, unlocking capacity by 5% to 7% with USD 2.2MM productivity (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia & Chile) and USD 0.2MM by incremental revenue in Mexico.
· Lead packaging Digital Twin PC Pilot development wave 1 strategy for 1 Salty lines in Mexico for 2024 YE.
· Assure flawless execution of Technical agenda by:
· Project implementation success criteria definition for each project.
· Define workflow to guarantee all required information for project success.
· Lead technical agenda with Steering Committee to assure project functionalities and schedule implementation.
· Guarantee the networking of the different areas and levels to ensure good communication and information flow.
· Design resources requirements needed for the development of the projects.
· Develop standard procedures according to the project workflow.
· Define and standardize FAT / SAT / CQV Definitions procedures.
· Align & coordinate AI Driven solution for manufacturing across different sectors such us ENGI / R&D / Quality / SUCH / Global team.
· Lead evolution/change management strategy to transform current people capability approach enabling the development of new technical competence required for the success of “Connected Factory of the Future”, by:
· Develop a training strategy aligned with Steering Committee to guarantee the necessary knowledge to achieve success criteria with each implementation.
· Delivering the mandatory training certification that impact on the SME´s roles
· Deploy and lead the“SME Role Alignment Mapping” across 34 plants in LATAM to drive compliance with SME´s accountabilities and proposed structure.
· Perform sessions with Ops Directors/VPs to address deviations vs Capability Matrix, and/or management opportunities at site level that compromise Program deliverables.
· Establish and deploy collaboration workflows/strategic forums with key partners to assure both compliances with Productivity deliverables and capability for future Business Growth :
· Latam Sites VPs / Directors / Managers on aligning strategic priorities focused on delivering Business objectives and new Manufacturing 4.0 vision around AI Driven Solution.
· Engineering/Finance leaders for Capex plan alignment and schedule implementations
· R&D / QAQC / HSE for alignment on product specifications and commissioning requirements.
THESE MAIN PROCESSES WILL DELIVER AT LEAST 2.4 MMUSD IN ADDITIONAL PRODUCTIVITY, , UNLOCKING +7% CAPACITY, VALLEJO, CERRILLOS, FUNZA, ITU & 7 LAGOAS FOR TC LINES IN THE NEXT 2 YEARS, ADDITIONAL TO DEVELOP PC PILOT FOR VALLEJO LINE.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Experience
Hard skills:
· Degree in Engineering Process / Mechanical / Electronic / Automation.
· 3-4 years of work experience in areas related to manufacturing processes.
· In-depth functional knowledge of Packaging technologies, as well as process factors impacting TE for the lines.
· In-depth knowledge of Automation, PLC / Phyton / PowerBI programming.
· 2 years experience of Business Knowledge (retail / manufacturing products)
· English (Fluent / native) Spanish (Fluent / native).
· Office Package
Soft Skills:
· Developed personal leadership . This role will interact with several stakeholders / functions (Leadership it´s a must to success in the role)
· Developed Analytical Skills: Capable of perform complex technical cause-effect / Trade Off analysis to develop and deliver integral improvement plans.
· Training, coaching & Communication skills : Demonstrated technical expert knowledge in packaging technology, with training and coaching skills.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills (mandatory) with ability to influence others.
