Main Purpose of the Role
Manage all the commercial activities for the Beverages categories and support the National Account Group Manager on specific projects for both Food & Beverages. The Junior Account Manager is responsible for the development, execution and delivery of the annual plan for the Beverages Categories.
· Contribution to the development and the implementation of the business.
· Overall responsibility for volume, turnover, market share and profitability of the customer.
· Responsible for the development of the local business such as assortment, promotion, distribution, instore visibility and for the annual commercial plan
· Responsible for the implementation of the commercial plan including the local negotiations with the customer
· Responsible for the budgeting process for the customer portfolio as well as the commercial forecasting.
· Reporting to the National Account Group Manager Discount
Main Accountabilities:
Next to the day-to-day tactical management of the customer, the Junior Account Manager should be able to think on a strategic level and contribute to the development of our short and long term vision for the customer respecting the PepsiCo Values and Code of Conduct.
· Management and development of the business related to the customer portfolio.
· Maintain/develop outstanding professional relationships with all relevant contact persons within the customer organization
· Deep knowledge and understanding of the customer P&L
· Development, negotiation and follow-up of the Annual Agreements
· Skills to analyse market data (Nielsen, GFK, …) in close collaboration with PepsiCo Category Management team to identify opportunities, optimize the assortment, introduce new product.
· Manage the promotions, folders, in-store activities and explore tailor made activities.
· Optimization of the customer service level in collaboration with Customer Service and Logistic team
· Skills to translate the Customer Strategy into a Pepsico commercial plan
· Team player: Work in multidisciplinary Business environment with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Logistic and Category Management
Qualifications/Requirements
· Master degree with 2-3 years of experience in the FMCG business
· Strong, dynamic and personality with good presentation and negotiation skills
· Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with P&L attitude
· Result-oriented
· Able to identify ways of improving operations' efficiency
· Priority management skills and ability to multi-task
· Teamwork: good communication to others inside the organization, open for new ideas & suggestions
· Strategic Vision with creative thinking
· Bi-lingual (NL & EN) and a good knowledge of French.
