Job Description

We are currently hiring an Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team in little Island on a permanent basis.

The supply chain team are the lynch pin of operations ensuring the careful coordination of concentrate ingredients and recipes. The team works with our global plants, bottlers and Distribution Centres to ensure flawless supply execution for PepsiCo. Primary Accountabilities:

Safety Stock Management

·  Set and Manage safety stock strategy for Cork
·  Align with management on appropriate annual calendar for running tool
·  Analyse the output and work with the materials planning team to agree safety stock levels
·  SME on safety stock tool with responsibility for maintaining the tool and the data.
·  Assess impact of safety stocks on days of inventory
·  Set inventory targets for Hypercare materials
·  Responsible for ensuring zero-obsolescence due to high safety stocks
Manage External Warehousing for Cork

·  Execute daily activities associated with external warehousing (may include system reconciliation for some external WHS)
·  Ensure monthly controls are completed on time and any cycle count issues are communicated effectively to management
·  Act as Supply Chain representative at annual contract discussions with warehousing and shunting vendors
·  Co-ordinate resolution of issues arising throughout the year regarding warehousing and shunting
·  Manage budget updates with Finance and ensure Cork come in on budget for full year
·  Calculate warehousing impact from new initiatives and projects and ensure any changes are communicated effectively to management
Contract Manufacturing Management

·  Execute daily activities associated with our Contract Manufacturing Partner Doehler
·  Ensure accurate, timely processes are in place so the Pepsi system correctly reflects contract manufacturing inventory in Doehler
·  Own the control process for inventory reconciliation – ensure monthly adjustments are explained and minimal
·  Co-ordinate bi-annual stock count in Doehler ensuring alignment with Global Controls
·  Manage all escalations from Customer Services and Inventory on issues identified with Contract Manufacturing processes
General

·  Execute weekly, monthly and annual reports for the inventory team. These are vital to identifying and mitigation reserves as well as ensuring the team has visibility and control of inventory and hence can meet monthly/annual targets.
·  Participate in implementation of core inventory projects
·  Help drive identification and development of inventory reduction strategies
·  Where required, participate in implementation of core inventory projects
·  Help drive identification and development of inventory reduction strategies in conjunction with other departments
·  A requirement of the role is that you must adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety Requirements

Control and compliance

·  Meet all internal & external compliance responsibilities including GCS, SOX & AIBI
·  Develop and maintain GCS documentation and ensure full compliance
·  Successfully complete SOX and GCS audits as required

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Experience in use of SAP and MS Excel
·  Strong supply chain experience in a dynamic multinational organization
·  Excellent MRP and analytical skills, with a proven ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
·  Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
·  Be capable of working effectively in a cross functional environment
·  Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks, with strong attention to detail
·  Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives;
·  Ability to work on own initiative
·  Excellent Customer Awareness and customer focus Third level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline
