We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Advisor to contribute to our organization's success. You will play a key role in supporting the HR function, working closely with the Human Resources Manager and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day HR activities, implementing engagement initiatives, and handling IR/ER matters.

THE OPPORTUNITY

 

·  Provide comprehensive HR support, advice, and coaching to employees and Frontline Managers.
·  Assist the Human Resources Manager in offering consultancy and advisory services on HR management issues, including interpreting relevant Acts, Regulations, Awards, and legislation.
·  Contribute to developing, implementing, and monitoring HR policies and procedures aligned with legislation and contemporary practices.
·  Support the execution of key HR initiatives focusing on site capability, engagement, and people management.
·  Manage day-to-day HR activities, including counseling, grievances, organizational development, and policy adherence.
·  Maintain accurate HR information systems by updating employment records according to company policy.
·  Provide operational HR information and analysis to identify trends and propose actions.
·  Research and prepare briefs, submissions, and correspondence on HR operations under the guidance of the HR Manager.
·  Demonstrate commitment to promoting health, safety, and welfare of employees.
·  Fulfill any reasonable and lawful directions provided by the Company.

 

ABOUT YOU

·  Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR Advisory role.
·  Tertiary Qualification in HR or related discipline (preferable)
·  Proven experience in handling IR/ER matters
·  Ability to manage grievances, disciplinary, and counseling situations effectively.
·  Excellent Communication Skills
·  Proven ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation
·  Ability to inspire in others a sense of trust and confidence in the advice provided and ability to deliver outcomes
·  Excellent organisational skills to deliver quality work in a fast paced environment
·  Experience in behavioural based recruitment techniques
·  Demonstrated understanding of Awards, National Employment Standards and relevant Legislation and Acts
