Global Procurement Senior Buyer Corrugates/Flexible Packaging

Job description

Responsibilities

·  Update and cleanse price lists on real time basis. SAP codes/description to be updated/cleansed.
·  Solicit Quotation from suppliers and prepare bid comparison for approval.
·  Lead dispute resolution regarding material supply, quality issues, invoice and payment issues
·  Prepare monthly supplier score card for quality and delivery vs. plan. Share benchmarking against industry / market standards.
·  Support in developing new suppliers.
·  Represent GP with Marketing/Sales/Supply Chain for all innovation and productivity projects.
·  Support Category negotiations and manage contracts with suppliers.
·  Create and Maintain SAP contracts.
·  Tracking, Reporting and uploading monthly productivity projects in relevant tool.
·  Evaluate & evolve sourcing strategy based on changing market conditions and provide inputs during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations.
·  Keep close tracking of productivity pipeline to cover any risks to the plan.
·  Support commodity reporting; maintain price & inflation/deflation database including internal and external data.
·  Supplier liaison for supplier quality assurance program
·  Support the preparation and submission of Procurement Quarterly submissions, Annual Operating Plans and PepsiCo Strategic Plan (PSP).
·  Support developing reports, analysis for Corrugate and other packaging.
Qualifications

·  Relevant bachelor’s degree.
·  Minimum 3-4 years of experience in direct category Sourcing (Preferred experience in Corrugates & Flexible packaging) in FMCG.
·  Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
·  High financial acumen.
·  Comprehensive experience with data analysis using tools like Excel, Access & SAP.
·  Initiative-taking and ability to manage multiple assignments.
