Responsibilities

The Opportunity

 

Lead and guide the US Virgin Island team of Retail Sales Representatives to achieve the organization's sales
objectives and revenue targets, while driving sustainable growth in the Salty and Foods business.

 

Your Impact

As Gerente Sr. para Ventas, your functions would consist of …

 

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives for the assigned district.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team meets individual and collective sales goals.
• Conduct performance reviews and market visits, set performance expectations, and address performance issues as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales representatives against set targets.
• Implement corrective actions and strategies to address any performance gaps.
• Generate regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market trends.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, category amanagement, business development, and logistics to ensure a cohesive
and integrated approach to business objectives.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

 

A bachelor's degree in business (BBA), marketing, sales, or a related field is often required. 
+ 2 years of experience in sales with a track record of success in progressively responsible roles.
• Experience in a leadership or management role, such as a sales supervisor or team leader.

• A deep understanding of the United States Virginf Islands market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
• Strong leadership and management abilities to effectively lead and motivate a sales team.
• Experience in recruiting, training, and developing sales professionals.
• Exceptional sales skills and a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)

• Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and clients.
• Ability to address customer concerns and provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned district and possibly beyond.
• Adherence to high ethical standards and a commitment to conducting business with integrity

-Microsoft Office (intermediate-advanced) required.

-Power BI (intermediate-advanced) required.

-Driver License (Required).
