Responsibilities
THE OPOORTUNITY
The role is responsible for the development and execution of the Warehouse operational strategy for the most relevant Geographical Regional (SPC) in Brazil, considering talent, process management and sales (42% of total cases moved and 35% of total head count Brazil).
YOUR IMPACT
The scope would consist of:
1. Service and Cost:
· Contribute to the Service Level agreed in the Supply Chain area through the CFR (Case Fill Rate) and SFR (Sales Fill Rate) indicators of your region;
· Establish and Manage the KPI´s to measure the supplier performance and creat action plan to support he operation team and delivery the best service level;
· Manage the Budget, plan, build, control and ensure compliance with the budgets for the CDV, DC and Warehouse in your area of responsibility, analyze monthly budget results, sending provisioning, forecasting, reclassifications.
2. Operation:
· Lead and guide the team in the processes, policies and procedures of the operations under their responsibility: inbound, picking, storage, outbound and inventory count;
· Ensure the management and results of your regional Operational Indicators (unloading/unloading time, busy box/tons/man/hour, boarding errors);
· Ensure the accuracy of warehouse stocks, finished product, raw material, CHEP pallet, packaging, measured by the KPI's accuracy of Item and Value.
3. Continuous Improvement:
· Expand the Continuous Improvement culture throughout the team through the application of the LSS (Lean Six Sigma) methodology or the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology, delivering pre-established monthly/annual results;
· Identify and implement operational improvement actions in inbound, outbound and administrative processes considering the needs and resources (human, material, machine and technological).
4. SASS / Quality:
· Ensure compliance with all the company's environmental and safety standards, policies and procedures. As well as ensuring that operations are in accordance with the organization's good storage practices;
· Carry out actions that aim to guarantee the results according to the locality goal measured by BPS, RIR, LTIR, BPA, AIB and MIP audits.
5. Team management:
· Lead and develop team talent, creating succession planning pipelines at local & regional level
· Influence and drive the agenda for Logitics as it relates to capability needs for Pepsico Brazil, talent development and technical requirements;
· Responsible for the selection, integration, training and development of the entire team, always aiming to serve the Internal / External Customer.
5 - Contract Management Logistics Operator
· Contract management of the Logistics Operator ensuring the actions to deliver the SLAs agreed in the contract;
· Leading with the logistics operator schedules of continuous improvement in processes to ensure agreed productivity.
6 -Innovations
· Market Intelligence: Remain abreast of industry trends/changes to identify impacts to Pepsico
· Develop and maintain professional relationships with all external vendors and contractors and improve efficiency process through incorporation of new technology;
· Develop close working relationships with Suppliers to support innovation;
· Benchmark suppliers against metrics to assure cost performance, service level and quality
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
· Degree in Administration, Engineering, Economy or Finance;
· MBA and Pos Graduation preferred;
· Previous experience in consumer companies, managing logistics category with potential to continue to advance within the GP organization;
· Experience in high volume inbound/outbound transportation operations with emphasis on customer focus and operational excellence;
· English & Spanish skills;
· Experience in leading and working on a matrix organization (multi-functional and multi-cultural teams);
· Experience in formulating strategy, planning, problem solving, project management while operating in a dynamic and outcome oriented environment;
· Systems: SAP, WMS or TMS experience is desirable.
