Front Line Manager

Overview

The Front Line Manager Snacks is the key role in the Snacks production process as he leads his team of (packaging and/or process) operators and organizes the work.

The FLM is accountable for his Team’s KPI’s on output, efficiency, quality.

The Front line Manager is responsible for a diverse team of approximately 25 frontline employees (process & packaging operators).

Responsibilities

·  Managing day to day business in our production areas
·  Responsible for targets on personal safety, food safety, food quality, efficiency and service
·  Responsible for team people processes and procedures (talent development , employee relations, and managing absenteeism)
·  Managing & executing Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Investment projects
Qualifications

·  Graduate or preferably Postgraduate degree or equivalent work experience
·  At least 3 years workexperience in a similar position and relevant industry (FMCG)
·  Proven trackrecord on motiving and inspiring others and building High Performing Teams
·  You are a productive communicator, tolerant with people and processes and wait for others to catch up before acting
·  You are at ease working in teams and independent
·  You are interested in operations and working in a 3 shift pattern
·  You are familiar with continuous improvement processes and lean manufacturing
