Overview

The Taber Production Operator will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada through providing leadership in the operations of our manufacturing functions.

Compensation: $23.75 per hour

Responsibilities

·  Operating machinery (varies from basic to complex)
·  Conduct sanitation activities daily and support biweekly site sanitation.
·  Maintain a professional conduct with colleagues.
·  Must be punctual and attend all scheduled shifts.
·  Entry level role - opportunity to understand all areas of manufacturing.

Shift : 3 shifts on, 3 shifts off 12hr (Must be available for day and night shifts)

Qualifications

·  Excellent physical coordination and conditioning.
·  Good speaking and writing skills.
·  Team player with good interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
·  Strong attention to detail.
·  Reliable and committed to follow safety and food safety protocols.

Physical demands and working conditions:

·  Must be able to lift/carry 45-60 lbs. constantly for 12 hours a day.
·  Must be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs. frequently.
·  Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
·  Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area.
