POSITION PURPOSE AND PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· To respond to the day-to-day maintenance and reactive faults on shift to ensure optimum performance levels are achieved and sustained.
· To balance the short, medium and long term Engineering Agenda to enable all KPI’s met on the planned work versus reactive environment.
· A member of the site facilities team, ensuring all areas of ownership from a maintenance and engineering perspective are covered.
· Develop maintenance systems/procedures and shift teams to ensure optimum performance on shift.
· To work to the planned maintenance schedule and ensure all reactive issues are dealt with and all follow up reporting is complete using the facilities technician team to assist.
· Develop and own capability build in to site expert, and share knowledge amongst Facilities team.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Previous experience of HVAC systems would be an an advantage.
· Competent Mechanical engineer (time served essential),L3 Electrician with minimum 2391, 18 th edition.
· Strong facilitation skills, drive for results and good team player.
· Thorough knowledge of site maintenance procedures. .
· Knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic controls and MHE with adequate industrial experience.
· Knowledge of Pepsico safety, Engineering and Electrical standards.
· Familiarity with computer software (word, excel, etc).
· Own and drive lean standards

· Have strong mechanical/electrical thought process and ability to identify, troubleshoot and correct problems.
· Provides specialist input to the Utilities & outside areas, effluent starch and AD plant.
· Analyses and understand problems to liaise with the correct specialist teams were required.
· Evaluates problems/issues to correct response using the RCA process.
· Have a thorough understanding of the plant and understands the consequences of shutting down/not shutting down will have on the site.
· Acts as support and advises their peers out of hours.
· Motivated, self-driven and ability to prioritise and manage own time.
· Demonstrate problem solving capabilities and makes the correct decision based on safety and efficiency. ACCOUNTABILITY:
· Provide area with expertise on systems/electrical/mechanical and asset management issues to drive and sustain Leicester Manufacturing..
· Provide Engineering maintenance expertise to the HVAC system, safety, people, cost and service.
· Support the maintenance activities at the starch, Effluent and AD plant.. Be available for callout as required through shift pattern.
· Support other facilities Technicians to build plant knowledge..
· Ensure 100% MP2 data quality.
· Supports the planning and execution of the maintenance tasks for the site asset management by working closely with site planner and also ensure contractors provide a service that is safe, quality driven and value for money.
· Robust handover and report is completed on all shifts to all.
· Full PDR review, report on own performance via PDR.
