Job description

Overview

As Demand Accelerator Insights Analyst your role would be to support European Demand Xcellerator team on Shopper, consumer and Market Insights Identification of potentials from retail and household panel data at channel and customer level and development support in End-to-end Insights creation to fuel Execution strategies. What is more, you will be responsible for initiation & coordination of Shopper Insight projects to exploit growth potential from an execution perspective. Support in the coordination of shopper studies for specific exploitation of growth potential. Support in shopper insights based customer workshops as well as product range and placement recommendations.

Responsibilities

Analytics

·  Presentation support for customer meetings (e.g. coming from both structural performance reports and shopper research projects)
·  Support in the development of internal presentations of the execution strategy, the joint business plan, strategic customer planning, DX playbooks
·  Support End-to-End insights creations

 

Reporting

·  Own and consolidate strong performance reports on Shopper behavior, including different data sources and reports
·  Produce standardized ad-hoc data requests (e.g. provide performance data for international account planning, market share updates)
·  Collect historical retailer data: external (e.g. market share, purchase of new stores..) and internal (e.g. scanner data for some customers
·  Preparation, maintenance and analysis of reports (market shares, shipments, IRI/Nielsen, GfK, business performance, sales figures, historical growth/CAGR, consumer KPI’s etc.) as well as support in the preparation of the category plan
·  Budget Tracking

 

Project management

·  Support SI Lead and executed deep dive Shopper Insights researches with external agencies
Qualifications

·  At least 2 years of professional experience in the FMCG branded goods industry, in category management or shopper marketing
·  Fluent English (verbal & written)
·  Business management university studies / degree (University / University of Applied Sciences) would be an asset
·  Strong analytical skills & experience in project management
·  Demand Accelerator Insights Analyst
·  Affinity with commercial project and customers
·  Prefference for Consumer Insights knowledge
·  Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
·  Experience in interface functions (marketing or sales) & in the application of shopper and retail market research tools (e.g. GFK SimIT)
