Be part of the team to support a successful transition from the current M&W plant in downtown Denver to the new State-of-the-Art Facility, High Point. As an EHS Senior Manager, you'll contribute to the success of the High Point Facility by ensuring regulatory compliance, accident prevention, and after-injury management. You'll establish, execute, and deliver facility-specific EHS plans that support PepsiCo's overall EHS objectives. Our most successful EHS Sr. Managers provide collaborative, proactive, and creative problem-solving abilities to develop outstanding EHS programs for the improvement of the overall strategy and EHS management system. 

Responsibilities

·  Provide active and positive leadership in the effort to develop and drive a safety-minded culture across the facility and continuous EHS improvement.
·  Implement, execute, and ensure compliance with the Pepsi - North American Beverages EHS policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA/ (i.e., Lockout, Haz Com, Machine Safety, SARA, RCRA, etc.).
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PEP+ Sustainability into all aspects of the business.
·  Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact.
·  Participate in formal EHS reviews of existing equipment modifications, new equipment purchases, and changes in site processes.
·  Lead execution of the site’s EHS Annual Operation Plan and EHS Action Plans for the location, including the development and management of expense and capital budgets needed to support these efforts.
·  Achieve annual target rates for Lost Time, Recordability, Severity, Environmental Compliance, and related cost reductions.
·  Interface with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to build engagement, address EHS concerns, and minimize impact.
·  Build people capability of site resources through effective employee relations, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training to support the implementation of EHS programming and achieve EHS goals.
·  Conduct EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements, Zero Zone Management System standards, Emergency Response, and internal PepsiCo EHS procedures.
·  Perform risk assessments and lead the implementation of effective physical and behavioral control measures to reduce risk. Recognize and verify the effectiveness of in-place controls.
·  Leads the incident investigation process, including root cause analysis. Identify unsafe equipment and operating conditions and lead the implementation of impactful corrective actions to drive EHS continuous improvement.  
·  Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for all key EHS programs, such as wastewater treatment, emergency response, LOTO, machine safety, etc. 
·  Ensure that required regulatory permits are acquired, that reports are submitted to regulatory agencies in a timely fashion, and that all site permit conditions (e.g., sampling, recordkeeping) are met.
·  Build and deliver environmental risk management and compliance programming tools and training materials. 
·  Maintain an effective performance management process by reviewing all direct reports’ progress against mid-year and annual plans and continually develop their effectiveness as leaders and technical practitioners, as well as providing opportunities for career development.
·  Champion an environment of continuous improvement that meets or exceeds division expectations.
·  Evaluate business unit capabilities, skills, and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives. Lead realignment and work redesign efforts as necessary to provide execution excellence.
Qualifications

·  Bachelor's Degree – Environmental, Safety, Engineering, or related degree with more than 10+ years of progressive EHS work experience. 

Preferred Job Qualifications:  

·  EHS management experience in a related industry, including consumer packaged goods, distribution/transportation, manufacturing, or grocery industry.
·  Knowledge and experience with EHS Management systems and their deployment 
·  EHS auditing work experience.
·  Solid working knowledge of EHS regulatory compliance 
·  3 - 5 years of increasingly responsible work experience in the safety or environmental field. 
·  Proven track record in driving a cultural change in EHS.
·  Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and influence management skills.

·  Demonstrate excellent organizational skills by using PC and related software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), able to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.

·  Advanced EHS knowledge in regulatory requirements, EHS technical aspects (safety, industrial hygiene, environmental regulatory management, risk management, behavior-based safety, training, regulatory agency enforcement 
·  Displays strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. 
·  Strong project management skills including financial responsibility, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and start-up/commissioning. Able to seamlessly manage multiple concurrent projects and programs. 
·  Demonstrates professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader. 
·  Understands and can articulate environmental regulations.  
·  Travel: 10-20% depending on business need

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

·  The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,300 - $177,850 based on a full-time schedule.
·  Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
·  Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out Annually.
·  Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
