Overview

PepsiCo is on the lookout for a Digital Transformation Senior Manager to join our Finance team in Cork on a permanent basis.

 

The purpose of this role is to develop and lead an integrated roadmap and prioritization of the Digital Transformation for Finance for the next 5 years. This will incorporate sustaining the current BPC System ensuring it is constantly fit for purpose for PGCS Plan and forecasting process.

The role will also lead the development of the strategy around :

Digital Reporting (Data analytics – Power BI)

Digital planning platforms ( roadmap to global platforms Mosaic/Cockpit), Integration to PepsiCo Global FOBO planning central

 and Data Stewardness for all Finance Planning master and transactional data.

In parallel this role with work with the FP&A Leadership team to review current processes and introducs simplification and automation where appropriate so the team can focus on adding value for the business

 

The role is also now expected to lead the implementation of Power BI capability in-house within the 100+ PGCS Finance Population, building power/super users in finance planning function.

Target is to digitize all data and take the system usage from just factual reporting to descriptive/predictive analytics.

This role will also represent PGCS Finance at the following forums

Global forums for planning integration

Represent Finance in PGCS Enterprise Digital Transformation Roadmap lead by S&T

Project management and Change Management to build this capability across planning function

Responsibilities

 

Lead the Digital Finance Agenda for PGCS., evolving FP&A capabilities in business intelligence and reporting over a multi-year roadmap. Ensure the FP&A planning processes deliver speed in execution and enables real time decision support along with visualisation of outputs including variance analysis, metrics etc. the role will be responsible for project and change management with FP&A users as evidenced by timely go-lives with strong business engagement

• Partner with FP&A stakeholders (Planning, S&D Finance, COGS Finance, Transformation Finance, Operations finance) to develop digital transformation roadmap for the function and execution plan.
• Lead to design and implement roadmap of PGCS journey into Global planning platforms – Mosaic, Cockpit etc
• Drive process simplification agenda in all FPA& Sub verticals – ideation, simplification in files, processes and R&R etc
• Look for digital solutions to submit actual, monthly forecast, AOP to 115 countries across the globe.
• Business lead for Digital Finance Transformation project working in partnership with FP&A stakeholders (Planning, S&D Finance, COGS Finance, Transformation Finance, Operations finance) , IT (Data, application support) and 3rd party vendor (delivery team ) to deliver within time, budget & agreed quality.
• Leading the management of key design decisions in partnership with the IT delivery lead
• Delivering the change management fundamentals in partnership with the transformation team to ensure that the change is understood, stakeholders are engaged and communicated with and users are trained into the change so that it sticks.
• Ensure efficient project execution with clear roles & responsibilities, structures for decision making
• Product owner for the IT delivery, making & communicating prioritisation & scope decisions
• Business lead at Governance & Steering committee identifying risks & opportunities and articulating what help is needed from sponsors to ensure successful delivery of project
• Project planning using Agile Project approach with 3rd party vendor & PGCS IT partners
• Lead & manage the Business Subject Matter expert team of 1-3 to ensure that Design, User Testing, defects, testing, documentation, cutover, hypercare support are delivered seamlessly to our business teams
• Partner with IT on the planning, & funding of the Multi-Year Roadmap so that budgets & resources are planned & the digital finance agenda is set up for success.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders at steering committees, townhalls, stakeholder updates.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:-

• Strong Experience in Financial Planning using Financial Planning tools
• Strong digital skills with a focus on data driven decision making & visualisation of outputs
• Passionate about the evolution of Financial Planning & with a vision for Digital FP&A and moving Finance up the value chain towards decision making and away from report production
• Strong Project Leadership & Change Management skills
• Collaboration, communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation including sectors outside of PGCS. Tailor language to the function, IT, Supply Chain, Finance etc
• Comfortable leading a virtual project with IT, Finance & 3rd Party vendor
• Professionally qualified accountant or computer engineering degree with 12 years+ (ideally in a multinational manufacturing environment with an FP&A function)
