Overview
PepsiCo Global Template (PGT) PBNA Lead has primary oversight of DevSecOps for Master Data Governance (MDG) and SAP Workflow. The role will be the main escalation point of contact between baseline business teams and the PGT project and ensure any critical functional gaps and/or defects are prioritized for closure. Additionally, the role will be responsible for all subsequent PBNA releases. Key to success in this role will be the ability to optimize the PepsiCo ways of working amongst many different stakeholder groups, drive clarity on roles and responsibilities in this new space.
Responsibilities
• Own overall MDG DevSecOps and SAP Workflows for PBNA to support Business and Data Teams
• Coordinate and manage SAP MDG and SAP Workflow related issues across development lifecycle phases
• Deliver consolidated status on development, testing, training, hyper-care, etc. for MDG and SAP Workflow enhancements and support
• Key point of contact for Europe Level 2 support and new scope enhancements for SAP MDG and SAP Workflow
• Evaluate proposals to adopt new MDG and SAP Workflow capabilities and functionality
• Assess impact, deliver changes, continuous improvements across projects that leverage MDG and SAP Workflows to ensure stability
• Work with Value Stream Leads, System and Landscape Management, DMO and other PGT project teams to close gaps/improve ways of working across all DevSecOps deliverables
• Manages resources in a matrix environment for SAP MDG and SAP Workflow
• Provide input to drive DevSecOps approach, including automation where possible
• Work/collaborate with external vendors, including onshore and offshore resources
• Work with other team members to share experiences and learnings
• Strong knowledge and experience with ServiceNow ITSM process and tools, HPLM, SOLMAN, Azure DevOps, Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management for handling Operations effectively
Qualifications
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
• 15+ years of hands-on SAP MDG design, development, and support
MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Knowledge of MDG Configurations and Customizations in areas like Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, Key Mapping, rules, and derivations
• SAP Workflow Administration and debugging in large production environments
• SAP ABAP Expertise – Function Modules, Business Objects, Classes, IDOCs, BADIs
• SAP Workflow Graphical Workflow Builder and constructors
• SAP Event Management including Status Management, Change Docs, Business Transaction Events
• BRF+ Application Development, Integration
• SAP Workflow Configuration expertise
• SAP Security knowledge required and security within SAP Workflow
• Knowledge of Extended Notifications
• SAP Web Dynpro and Floor Plan Manager a plus
MANDATORY NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Experience working in large scale Enterprise Programs and complex cross matrix environment
• Prior experience working with global SAP solutions across Sectors, managing a global team to ensure minimizing any local change impacts
• Experience as a Lead, managing SAP MDG and SAP Workflow within a Global CPG company
• Functional knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes per the necessary in-scope data domain (i.e., Material, Supplier, Customer, and Finance)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to persuade and influence others at all organization levels and the ability to foster lasting partnerships
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP MDG and SAP Workflow dependencies and/or gaps
• Strong Project Management experience
• Develop and enhance SAP PGT Workflow solutions maximizing shared code and common design patterns across platforms
• Provide Solution Governance to projects – Provide input and recommendations to solution design
• Perform design and code reviews
• Organize and lead Proof of Concepts to demonstrate new and upcoming technologies
• Identify and develop global, reusable components and services
