Deputy Director- Front end Tech and Platform (BOBJ, SAC, FIORI) - Lead

Overview

The PepsiCo Global Template Analytics DevSecOps Front-end Lead will be responsible for the development and support of reporting and analytics solutions. The role will ensure that the incidents are resolved, and the SLAs are met and the development of new analytics to support PepsiCo business globally.

The role is expected design and build quality analytics in a stable environment consisting of Enterprise HANA, S/4, SLT, BODS, CPI-DS, Fiori App, SAC Dashboard, Business Objects (Web Intelligence, AFO)

This role will be responsible for overseeing SAP Analytics Cloud(SAC) & SAP Business Objects services and offerings in the PGT landscape, encompassing administration, maintenance, and performance. The role will act as a product manager, establishing operational metrics and managing day-to-day operations.

The role also collaborates with other product teams and SAP, serving as an enabler to ensure alignment between the platform and product deliveries, to address business challenges.

Responsibilities

·  Managing and maintaining the Business Objects platform, including system configuration, upgrades, and patches in collaboration with architects and product teams.
·  Establishing metrics with actional reports/dashboards for administration, development and support.
·  Collaborating with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.
·  Ensuring the smooth functioning of the platform by monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving incidents and problems.
·  Collaborating on the Integration of Business Objects and/or SAC with other enterprise systems where required.
·  Ensuring compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
·  Provide guidance and support to development teams in implementing best practices.
·  Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing remediation measures. Collaborate with other teams necessary to ensure effective incident response and disaster recovery processes.
·  Managing the relationship with SAP as the vendor, coordinating licensing, and evaluating new functionality.
·  Establish an active platform roadmap.
·  Provide coaching and mentorship to others.
·  Ability to quickly adapt to changes in technologies, timelines and sequences

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
·  Deep and broad experience with solution design, configuration, and implementation for SAP Analytics tools
·  Complex report development and delivery on front end tools like BOBJ, SAC, Fiori, PowerBI etc..
·  Datasource Integration. Admininstrator skills on multiple platforms. Experience of performance tuning, issue resolution.
·  At least 10-12 years of major SAP transformation or end to end implementation projects with experience in
·  Functional & technical solution design & development
·  Analyze requirements definition/mapping & apply required configuration changes
·  Development, execution, Hypercare, Sustain
·  UAT execution lead role for a specific area
·  Functional & Technical Workshop delivery
·  Training material and documentation development
·  Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, as well as Agile methodologies.
·  Knowledge of ITSM processes, reporting and analytics in ServiceNow.
·  Solution Design / Configuration for SAP Analytics in FP&A areas
·  Significant experience in developing reports and dashboards using FIORI, Analysis for Office (AfO), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), WEBI etc.
·  Good coding skills in either of these: SAP-ABAP, SQL, Java script
·  Good to have: Knowledge and skills for SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT)
·  Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously with the ability to adapt priorities quickly and effectively
·  A high level of independence as demonstrated through clear problem solving and communication skills and the delivery of high-quality work
·  Ability to effectively guide and inspire the team. Provide clear direction, and motivate team members to achieve success.
·  Possess strong conflict resolution skills
·  Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+ , MS Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, Service Now
·  Have a mindset of continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
·  Exposure/Experience in SaFe methodology
