Job description

Responsibilities

·  Monitoring of stock
·  Ensuring all incidents and accidents are reported timeously
·  POD control
·  Safe working practices
·  Housekeeping
·  Following Standard Operating Procedures
·  Assist the driver in the loading and offloading of the product
·  Assist with the manoeuvering of the vehicle in the safest possible manner for delivery to customers
·  Loading and off loading at customer
·  Securing loads and ensuring that the product is always properly secured in transit
·  Assist the driver and report any damage to any property
·  Assist where possible with control of paperwork
Qualifications

·  Matric is essential
·  Code 10 or higher valid driver’s licence with PrDP will be an advantage
·  Excellent communication and organizational skills
·  Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities - effective in handling and interacting with customers
·  Familiarity with local streets, neighbourhoods and routes
·  Highly responsible & reliable
·  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·  Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
·  The ability to work flexible hours
·  The ability to lift heavy objects
·  Strong work ethic
·  Neatly presented at all times
