Overview
The Control & Reporting Senior Analyst will be a key member of the Sector Reporting COE and will report directly to AMESA Control & Reporting Manager. The individual will be primarily responsible for India and Pakistan HFM reporting and will be managing the submission of HFM results to Sector / Corporate reporting team.
Responsibilities
· Financial Reporting
· Managing and supervising India and Pakistan HFM reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual/ad-hoc) as per timelines of Sector HFM reporting team
· Prepare and Submit Pakistan Snacks results in HFM
· Act as a key control owner in India and Pakistan RCOE Financial Reporting processes & ensure compliance with GCS
· Supervising submission of FAS 109 related deliverables
· Managing Statutory Audits for the concerned markets.
· Preparing and conducting Balance Sheet Reviews with BU Controller
· Review/incorporate top side adjustment entries in HFM
· Review and approve US GAAP entries in HFM
· Reconciling SAP and HFM accounts and documenting reason for any variances
· Preparation and review of financial results variance analysis and co-ordinate with cross functional BU teams to gather information for submitting COC for review with BU reporting Manager and Controller
· Preparation of monthly Dashboard, Monthly Flash, and other management review files
· Review of monthly/quarterly and annual closing checklists
· Managing direct reports, addressing their challenges, providing continuous support and guidance, devising their development plans and conducting monthly 1:1 sessions
· Conducting monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) review and debrief sessions with the key stakeholders
· Stakeholders management by keeping close coordination specially with the Sector and BU reporting teams. Addressing the challenges/queries on timely basis.
· Co-ordinate with Sector corporate reporting team for any issues faced during monthly reporting
· Continuously driving the efficiency in the submissions by leveraging automation to streamlining the reporting process
· Driving the sector and market based RCOE projects
Qualifications
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA
· Minimum: 5-6 years of relevant accounting related experience.
· Reporting experience: 2 years
· Strong communication skills with excellent written and verbal English skills
· Big Four experience highly preferred.
