Job Overview
The content development lead serves as the initial point of contact for the Europe Brand Marketing Team, Internal Creative Teams: Sips & Bites, PepsiCo Design Team and Agencies of Record that serve the brands. This unique role will act as the strategic liaison for internal brands and clients, internal creative teams, and partner agencies while also supervising multi-channel engagement execution. The ideal candidate must be a strategic and creative thought leader with the ability to deliver integrated thinking; demonstrate a positive, do-what-it-takes attitude; be a natural connector who develops strong relationships among various groups, and anticipate and solve problems all while being highly organized.
The Content Develoment lead will also act as as Marketing KBS tower lead in relation with Sector / BU’s, representing the link between all KBS marketing capabilities
Responsibilities
· Lead overall growth and development of annual GBS SOWs across Europe portfolio of brands in partnership with European Design Team and org lead;
· Responsible for managing an internal creative team of art directors, designers, account managers and others;
· Quality Check Owner of all materials based on internal briefings and brand guidelines.;
· Strategic thinker capable of leading the development of a brand’s engagement strategy, annual plans and specific projects with multiple stakeholders including internal and external agency partners and clients;
· Being sufficiently informed and personally involved, ensuring sound planning, good service and a solid client/agency relationship;
· Keep management informed of the status of the group’s accounts, problems, plans and meetings, as well as involving Management personnel at key times;
· Insure the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns, and projects (per SLA/OLA guidelines) to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved;
· Plans, develops, and defends budget recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide quality executions and activations for the internal brand teams;
· Assigns duties, goals, and supervises the account service staff at KBS;
· Maintains open and complete communications of Client issues with functional leaders and corporate management;
· Responsible for leading team including training, development and future career pathing;
· Act as GBS Tower Lead within the Governance Framework Forums;
· Managing the business partners per BU with the support of Campaign & Project management team.
Qualifications
· Marketing professional with at least 8-12 years in agency account management and/or experience in a closely related field;
· Minimum of eight (8) years in a supervisory/manager role;
· Bachelor’s degree required. (Marketing);
· Experience managing brand content either on the client side or on a creative / designer agency is a must;
· Strong track record of demonstrating ability to oversee a range of accounts and projects with detail-oriented lens;
· Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything while leading creative teams and managing agency product;
· Leadership: Orchestrator, Influencer, non-hierarchical: Strong track record of developing and inspiring teams of marketing / creative professionals. Proven collaboration abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skills;
· Able to work within a matrix organization and manage multiple stakeholders;
· Must be open to occasional travel (approx. 25% of time).
