As Communication Manager - Gulf, your primary responsibility is to lead our communication efforts and enhance our corporate image. You will play a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to strengthen internal cohesion and external brand perception. While your focus will be on the GCC, you will support the implementation of the larger Corporate Affairs agenda for the Middle East.

Responsibilities

Communication Strategy: Work with the Communication Team and the agencies to develop and execute a cohesive corporate communication strategy aligned with organizational goals and values, ensuring consistency in messaging across all communication channels.

 

Media Relations : Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers. Work with the agencies to prepare and distribute press releases and manage media inquiries effectively.

 

Content Creation : Create compelling content for various communication channels, including corporate announcements, newsletters, and executive communications.

 

Social Media : Oversee the organization's social media presence across all platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate communication goals and maintaining a positive online reputation, in partnership with the digital agency.

 

Executive Communication : with the PR agency, provide strategic communication support to executives, including speechwriting, media interactions and online presence.

 

Internal Communication/Engagement : Developing and implementing internal communication plans to keep leaders and employees at large informed and engaged on Corporate Affairs activities in the Middle East. Partner with HR on employee engagement initiatives.

 

Crisis Communication : Support in developing and implementing crisis communication plans to address potential issues promptly and maintain a positive corporate image.

 

Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain partnerships and positive relationships with key stakeholders. Coordinate communication efforts to effectively engage with various stakeholders.

 

Monitoring and Analysis : Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks. Conduct regular analysis and reports on the effectiveness of communication strategies and tweak strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
·  Demonstrated experience in media relations and spokesperson management.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
·  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
·  Knowledge of social media platforms.
·  Crisis management experience.
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic corporate environment.
