Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Commercial Finance Analyst has two main responsibilities: Region Grocery IFR Reviews, and periodic reporting.  This analyst will work across all Quaker sales finance teams to gather, review, and provide feedback on incremental funding requests for pricing exceptions that will drive increased trade expense.  The Commercial Financial analyst will also maintain and provide performance driver summaries for periodic topline results to senior management as well as analysis and reporting of other trade categories like slotting, closeouts, and by-product accounts.

 

Your Impact

 

 As FP&A Analyst your responsabilities would consist of:

Functional Responsibilities

·  Understand key drivers of the P&L
·  Provide insight into customer and channel results, expected future performance, partnering with Sales Strategy and Sales Finance to understand potential risks/opportunities and recommended actions
·  Reporting and analysis, including period-end close reporting and forecast analysis
·  Evaluate potential trade investments, including customer-specific incremental funding requests
·  Manage the IFR Microsoft Teams page to document all submissions, and decisions made throughout the year
·  Ownership of the Commercial Finance Foods Planning forecast uploads and reporting process
·  Manage the Quaker Commercial Finance slotting budget
·  Support the BU forecast process through the development of detailed volume forecasts, leveraging inputs from Field Sales Finance and macro trends
·  Support pricing analysis and pricing strategies to deliver profitable growth to the BU
·  Support reporting and analysis of retail performance and execution and potential impact on topline results
·  Supporting ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed
·  Create an inclusive and collaborative environment

People Responsibilities

·  Coach and on- board new members of the team in ways of working and processes
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

 

·  Barchelors degree in Finance, Administration or similar Filed.
·  Experience managing a P&L is a must
·  2-4 years of experience in finance and planning is a must
·  Proficiency in English language because this role wil be working with USA 
·  Experience in financial analysis, data integrity maintenance and systems such as SDW, SAP, FPS, Business Objects, Essbase & TREE preferred
·  Tableau or Power BI knowledge
·  Strong excel skills is a must
·  Hydrid modality work based in CDMX
