Overview

The Banking & Commodity Tax Sr. Associate is responsible for commodity tax reporting, reconciliations and leading the resolution of gaps to prevent future penalties. Is also accountable for non-resident withholding taxes and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

·  Complete periodic bank reconciliations

·   Commodity tax and withholding tax subject matter expert including ownership of reconciliations and payment requests

·  Vertex (commodity tax system) subject matter expert including supporting maintenance, upgrades,and implementing business changes
·  Actively participate in SAP implementation project
Qualifications

·  College Diploma or University degree in Accounting
·  Chartered Professional Accountant student
·  Canadian commodity tax experience
·  Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
·  Knowledge of SAP, Oracle and Vertex is an asset
