The Tropicana Marketing team are shaping the future of the chilled juice category and are looking for an Assistant BrandManageduring a pivotal time in the nutrition landscaper. Tropicanais the UK’s most loved juice brand and has been leading the way in educating consumers about the health benefits of juice for many years and forms a vital part of our performance with purpose agenda. It’s a very exciting moment to join the team and there are loads of initiatives to deploy in 2020!

Our fun and friendly team is on a quest to find an agile, creative and collaborative Assistant BrandManager.You’ll support the Brand Manager in bringing not only the local brand plan to life, but also in developing ideas that could shape the future Tropicana vision.

What will your responsibilities include?

·  Brand ownership of part of the Tropicana product portfolio – you will own insight development, performance tracking and identifying opportunities for growth for the product portfolio
·  Assist in the development and execution of the annual brand and communication plan on Tropicana to deliver against brand targets.
·  Champion your product portfolio – you will represent the UK BU across different internal forums and meetings, including strong liaison with the Regional Team.
·  E-commerce on-point, liaising with key cross-functional teams to identify the opportunities for growth and put in place a clear plan of action for the juice team.
·  Collaborate with the sales team on account specific and national on-pack promotions and activations as well as providing support on customer sell-ins.
·  Liaise with creative, digital and media agencies to manage the Tropicana website and social media channels; including the creation and production of content, influencer outreach, website updates and setting clear KPI’s to measure success and provide recommendations.
·  Manage existing product packaging updates and NPD pack designs ensuring the Tropicana brand identity is adhered to and aligning key stakeholders.
·  Lead the brand, campaign and competitor tracking and analysis; including providing insights and recommendations for optimisation alongside sharing best practices, identifying trends and bringing the outside in.
·  Manage Tropicana budget tracker, ensuring it’s always up to date and reflecting latest brand spend.
·  Lead cross-functional projects for the brand and be an active team player, liaising strongly with internal stake holders such as Finance, the European Regional Team, Commercialisation or Insights.
·  Proactively participate in the wider Juice UK Marketing team as well as the Tropicana European Regional team to share best practice, creative ideas and new insights.

Qualifications/Requirements

What are we looking for?

·  Strong education background – minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent
·  Experience within a brand marketing environment with FMCG marketing experience desirable
·  Excellent communicator ; excelling at both written and oral communication.
·  Strong influencing skills and a track record of championing new ideas
·  Experience managing BTL activities such as pack design, PR, digital and shopper
·  Strong cross-functional collaborator working across different departments and influencing senior stakeholders through the decision-making process
·  Evidence of strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects through the business stage-gate process
·  Experience of 3 rd party agency management
·  Strong intuition coupled with the ability to manage data and research to form great ideas and recommendations
·  Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and deliver results
·  Exposure to internal commercials, understanding financial acumen including P&L awareness
