We are looking for an Agricultural Engineer to join our Agro team based in Nevsehir. The individual directly report to Agro Production Manager.

Responsibilities

·  Organization of seed/chipstock production and keep track of the plan during plantation.
·  Research on agricultural best practices and follow up trials on the field.
·  Selection of the field which seed/chipstock potato will be planted, and support to farmers during operation.
·  Support to farmer’s operation team ( make sure that farmer has facility and skill for planting potato).
·  For Growing Crop System, monitoring growing season (Planting, agronomic application and harvest).
·  Follow up to latest technology about fertilizer, irrigation, crop protection and agricultural practices in the potato industry, in order to be able to advise farmers.
·  Make sure that FLT is applying the correct agronomical applications ( field yields calculations, fertilizing and chemical usage type, dosage and timing )
·  Follow up and organize potato harvest operations (pre-harvesting plan, warehouse plan, logistic plan)
·  Perform regular farm visits as part of Growing Crop System to record and report FLT production
·  Follow up potato storage performance (quality and losses)
·  Coordinate all activities related to Vendor Assurance Programs about potato for agronomic and technical matters.
·  Establish and follow up potato food safety and potato quality system in the part of field operation
Qualifications

·  Experience in field crop, preferably have experience in potato
·  University degree (Agriculture Engineering)
·  Team work
·  Agricultural team management competence.
·  Driver's license holder and must be able to travel frequently.
·  Productive communication skills (verbal and written)
·  Analytical thinking and planning skills.
·  Results oriented
·  Ability to work independently and under pressure.
·  Influence and impact skills, organizational impact.
·  Fluent English in writing and speaking skills.
·  High level of computer literacy (MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
·  Tohumluk/cipslik patates tarımı ile ilgili işlerin tarlalarda ekiminden hasadına kadar tüm aşamaların organizasyonu, takibi, raporlanması, kayıtların tutulması.
·  Üretim planlaması için gerekli girdilerin hesaplanması, üretimlerinin planlanması ve takibi.
·  Ürün gelişme dönemlerinin takibi ve raporlanması, hasat ve sevkiyat planının hazırlanıp, takibi.
·  Tohum veya cipslik patates üretimi ile ilgili yasal süreçleri takip etmek, tedarikçileri bilgilendirmek ve devlet kurumları ile ilgili süreçlerin takibi.
·  Üreticilere tarımsal faaliyetlerle ilgili geri bildirim ve tavsiyelerin iletilmesi, alınan aksiyonların takibi.
·  Tohum ve patates depo operasyon organizasyonlarına destek olmak, depolanan tohum veya patateslerin kalite durumlarının takibi ve raporlanması.
·  Saha ekibinin organizasyonuna destek olmak.
·  Agro projeleri ve sistemlerinin tedarikçi ve üretici bazında hayata geçirilmesi ve takibi.
·  Tarımsal iyi uygulamaların geliştirilmesi ve organizasyonu.
·  Üretim sahalarında çeşitli deneme ve adaptasyon çalışmalarının yürütülmesi.
·  Globalde kullanılan teknik uygulamaların Türkiye’de kullanımı ve destek verilmesi.
·  Yetiştiricilik, gübreleme, zirai mücadele ve sulama konularında teknik destek ve yayım hizmeti verilmesi.
·  Tarla tarımı konusunda deneyime sahip olmak ( Patates veya yumrulu bitkiler tecrübesi tercih nedeni)
·  Ziraat Fakültelerinin Bitki Koruma, Tarla Bitkileri, Bahçe Bitkileri veya ilgili diğer bölümleri mezunu
·  Tarım ekip yönetimi yetkinliği.
·  Sürücü belgesi sahibi ve sık seyahata engel durumunun olmaması.
·  Esnek çalışma saatlerine uyumlu.
·  Takım çalışmasına uyumlu.
·  İletişimi güçlü ve ikna kabiliyeti yüksek.
·  Analitik yönü güçlü ve sonuç odaklı olması.
·  Orta ve üstü derecede İngilizce bilen
·  Windows Office programları bilgisi
