Overview

This role reports to the Accounting Operations Sr. Supervisor of Bev US DSD and is primarily responsible for the period close journal entries and tasks and analysis of the PBC US Field COGS Accounting.  Responsibilities will include Prepaid/Accrual Reconciliation, research and problem solving, and overseeing COGS variance review/analytical response. In addition, this position will be the point contact for any field variance or COGS questions, field COGS projects and other productivity projects for the COGS Accounting team.

Responsibilities

·  Report period, quarter and annual closing of the financial statements ensuring Field COGS and Inventory are accurately reported
·  Report COGS Variance with analysis and explanations
·  Prepaid/Accrual oversight and problem solving to clear aged balances
·  Facilitate periodic and quarterly Inventory reporting, including Year End Inventory process
·  Liaison to Field locations and field BPC on Inventory questions/issues
·  Project accountability and execution for RM/FG projects that impact Field COGS
Qualifications

·  At least 3-4 years of prior experience with an Accounting Degree
·  MBA or Finance Degree a plus
·  Cost Accounting: Understanding or background within
·  Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Business Objects; Tableau a plus
·  Excellent communication and organizational skills
·  Ability to work cross functionally
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Strong team player

Compensation and Benefits

·  The expected compensation range for this position is between $62,700 to $104,850 based on a full-time schedule
·  Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
·  Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
