Responsibilities

What you can expect:

Students are afforded opportunities for beneficial, meaningful work experience within Pepsi Logistics Company, Inc. PepsiCo’s very own logistics division. Please let your PepsiCo Campus Representative know which of the following disciplines interests you most. You may express interest in more than one:

 

Pepsi Logistics Company, Inc. : Interns will work closely with the PLCI capacity team to understand and support the full lifecycle of 3rd party carrier procurement tracking, coverage, and strategy. This role will support both PepsiCo internal transportation as well as the transportation of some of PepsiCo’s largest strategic customers and suppliers. The role will consist of a rotation between 2-3 roles to expedite the learning and understanding of PepsiCo supply chain through the PLCI division. The culmination of this rotation will be a tangible project outcome that will be presented out to PLCI leadership at the conclusion of the internship. This role will require the following attributes for success:

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

· Currently pursuing a degree in: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Analytics (other related majors will be considered)

· Ability to effectively interact and build favorable business relationships through effective communication skills

· Ability to negotiate and influence an outcome leveraging market information, data, and effective communication skills

· Ability to learn key freight brokerage market dynamics and industry best practices

· Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations

· Ability to operate and flourish in a fast-paced business start up

· Has a positive attitude at all times even in times of adversity

· Involvement in at least one extracurricular activity

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to adapt to changes in timelines and sequences

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Flexibility for relocation will allow for greater advancement opportunities

 

Minimum Qualifications - Each candidate is expected to:

· Graduate with Bachelor’s degree within one (1) year of internship completion.

· Be eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future

· Pass a drug screen and background investigation

·  The expected compensation range for this role based on a full-time schedule is $62,100 – $85,000 
·  Role, degree discipline, degree level, and location are part of the process when determining actual starting salary for positions  
·  Compensation for our campus hires is pre-determined and non-negotiable  
·  In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.  Paid time off is subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
