Job description
· Ensure guests receive excellent service and satisfaction throughout their dining experience, anticipating needs and providing personalized attention
· Supervise and guide waiters during service to maintain hotel standards and smooth workflow
· Manage table assignments, reservations, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow
· Check accuracy of orders taken, confirm special requests, and coordinate timely delivery to guests
· Promote menu items, specials, and beverages through effective upselling techniques and suggest pairings
· Communicate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth order execution and resolve delays quickly
· Handle minor guest complaints professionally and escalate major issues to the Team Leader promptly
· Train and mentor waiters on service etiquette, menu knowledge, and hotel policies for consistent quality
· Inspect table setups, cutlery, glassware, and cleanliness before and during service to uphold standards
· Assist with billing, payment processing, and provide feedback to the Team Leader on staff performance and operational improvements
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality or equivalent qualification
· Minimum 1-2 year of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a 5-star hotel environment
· Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards, menu items, wines, and beverages
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to handle guest interactions professionally
· Ability to supervise and train junior staff, with good leadership and problem-solving skills
