About the role
Join the dynamic team at Park Hyatt Melbourne as the Director of Sales. In this full-time, permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the hotel's commercial success and elevating the Park Hyatt brand within the Melbourne market. Based in our iconic CBD location, you will oversee all sales strategies and lead a talented sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
What you'll be doing

Develop and execute innovative sales plans to generate new business opportunities and maximise revenues across all market segments

Manage and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, training and performance management to ensure they deliver exceptional results
·
Foster strong relationships with key accounts, travel intermediaries and industry partners to secure new business and maintain a robust pipeline
·
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities
·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with the hotel's overall strategic objectives
·
Ensure compliance with all Hotel and brand standards, policies and procedures
Desired profile
Qualifications :
·
Extensive experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry
·
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
·
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills to identify and capitalise on revenue opportunities
·
Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship-building abilities to effectively engage with key stakeholders
·
Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating and developing high-performing sales teams
·
Degree qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Hospitality Management)
·
Proficient in using sales and performance management tools
