We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, Wholesale Chief Administration Office - CAO CHINA COE.

Principal responsibilities

·  To provide consistent support and implement responsibilities as part of the Global WT&P team under the Guangzhou WT&P team construct.
·  Deliver frontline business management support to AMH CMB, engaging directly with senior stakeholders, including Managing Directors and Directors.
·  To plan and execute strategies for people development, staff engagement, business performance review, and communications.
·  Analyze and identify common processes across CMB, GB, Investment Banking, and other global regions.
·  To support, coordinate, and implement strategic initiatives that are often of a complex, strategic, and cross-functional nature to rationalize or create efficiencies across WCOO.
·  To manage FTE by tracking scorecard performance, monitoring recruitment approvals and due diligence review of requests, job catalogue, high-risk role governance, business framework review, org chart preparation and maintenance, and training coordination.
·  To support key governance forums for Global WCOO/CMB/GB, prepare governance packs for senior management, and track and execute actions arising from governance forums.
·  To support the execution of WCOO strategic initiatives such as organization design, cost/service performance review, staff engagement/development, customer propositions, and business performance review.
·  To implement special projects and WCOO initiatives as required.
·  Strategy planning, execution, and orchestration.
·  Ensure strategic objectives are translated into initiatives and brought into reality, working with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate mechanisms for key measurements and monitoring to ensure transparency and progress evaluation.
·  Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure correct focus and direction for the business area across the bank.
·  In collaboration with Global Wholesale, CMB, GB and Digital Business Services (DBS) sub-functions, executing key initiatives including streamlining, simplification and service mapping, working alongside process re-engineering colleagues as required.

Requirements

Operational Effectiveness & Control

·  Demonstrate good governance and control in line with Group policies, ensuring appropriate governance is developed to inform the progress of strategic initiatives.
·  Support the continuing development, implementation and improvement of the WT&P processes, structures, capabilities, capacity and infrastructure needed to deliver agreed plans and targets, collaborating with colleagues to maximise; cost visibility, optimisation and strategy.
·  Maintain a robust control environment through the adherence to internal controls, procedures, record keeping and the timely implementation of issues or audit / regulatory recommendations.
·  Initiate and/or undertake activities, ensuring that risks / issues are escalated and reported through governance.
·  Ensure that operational risks are fully assessed prior to the execution of a delivery, escalating where required.
·  Present documentation in a clear and articulate manner; tailoring the content to the audience.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
