Reporting to the Logistics Director, the Transport Manager will have the following main responsibilities:

 

·  Transport Strategy :
·  Define and execute the short and medium-term transport strategy to optimize costs and maximize service.
·  Minimize the environmental impact of logistics operations by participating in the development of the strategic CO2 emission reduction plan with the DIJ team (Danone Impact Journey).

 

·  Financial Performance :
·  Control all transport costs in line with supply chain objectives.
·  Ensure on-time delivery and daily performance of transport decisions.

 

·  Support and Coordination :
·  Transversally animate the team of Logistics Client Coordinators (CCL) for operational management.
·  Contribute to achieving service rate and productivity objectives within the supply chain.

 

·  Negotiation and Supplier Relations :
·  Annually negotiate commercial agreements with carriers to reduce costs and improve service.
·  Manage the supplier relationship and maximize the use of available tools.

 

·  Innovation and Performance :
·  Develop innovative solutions with external partners to optimize operational processes.
·  Manage carrier performance through relevant KPIs.

About you

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

·  Bachelor's degree in operations management, logistics, business administration, or another relevant field.
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics in similar industries.
·  Knowledge of SAP and TMS desired.
·  Bilingual French/English (spoken and written).
·  Communication skills, relational quality, and analytical mindset.
·  Results-oriented and capable of proactively and continuously solving problems.
