About the Job

You will work on five main areas of expertise:

Actual Performance Review Dashboard Management:

· 
·  Maintain and timely update the performance review dashboard for 3 entities(Danone Trading BV ELN (Early Life Nutrition), Danone Trading BV AMN (Adult Medical Nutrition) and Dutch Holdings)
·  Collaborate with team members to gather relevant performance data from different stakeholders.
·  Contribute to monitor key financial performance indicators (recurring operating profit (ROP) and free cash flow (FCF)) in terms of monthly/YTD movement and movement vs Rolling forecast (RF)

Data Analysis and Insights:

· 
·  Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
·  Create visualizations (charts, graphs) to present insights effectively.
·  Suggest actionable recommendations based on financial analysis.

Process Improvement:

· 
·  Contribute to the working process review to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the existing processes.
·  Propose enhancements to streamline workflows working on automation of working files (e.g., actual/rolling forecast (RF)/landing monitoring (LM) working files)
·  Implement changes and measure their impact by postmortems.

Documentation:

· 
·  Maintain documentation related to financial reporting, processes (actual/rolling forecast (RF)F/landing), and improvements in the right place/shared folder structure.

 

Project: Deliver an automated dashboard with visualizations (charts, graphs) to present insights effectively by collaborating with IT/Finance and software teams for implementing enhancements and streamline workflows with automation of working files and use of available tools (Power BI)

 

You will work closely with Jorge Robaina, the line manager for the position. This is what Jorge shared with us about himself “ Ihail from Venezuela and joined Danone in the Netherlands back in 2009. Initially, I worked with the trading team, responsible for managing intercompany accounts payables and receivables. Later, I transitioned to an accounting role, where I interacted with both AMN and ELN. Recently, I assumed the position of FP&A controller for DTBVs. Danone is a group that offers abundant opportunities; my three different roles within a short span of time exemplify this’’

About you

 You arecurrently pursuing a master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. You show proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel) and financial software BI based / SAP is a great plus. You are a detail-oriented and organized person with strong communication skills. You are enthusiastic about finance and process optimization. Previous working experience/Internship in similar area is a Plus.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

·  Enrolled as amaster’sstudent during the whole internship period(if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university).
·  Ideally available to start in August for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
·  You are fluent in English - oral and written.
·  You are able to work fromHoofddorp office3times per week.
·  Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

 

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
