Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Technical BSA.
This is an in-office working position located in Dallas, TX.  Please do not apply unless you are already local to those areas or are willing to relocate yourself to the area.  

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the data analysis, UAT support, Data Modelling and Prod Support for the  systems and applications. The candidate will work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, help in performing Root Cause Analysis of fixes, design new ETL frameworks, design Data Models and help implement enhancements to production environment.
Future duties and responsibilities
.    Will lead the designing and Requirements effort for Regulatory reporting applications.
.    Will be responsible for maintaining the Requirements related artefacts.
.    Design Data models.
.    Knowledge about the Incident, Problem and Change management.
.    Prepares requirement definition, design, technical specifications. 
.    Provides support for testing and implementation for identified technical platform (i.e., Mainframe, Mid-range, Distributed or Web). 
.    Analyzes Business user requirements and defines functional specifications for project scope and assumptions for assigned tasks. 
.    Creates business and/or technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systems. 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.    Ability to read/write and interpret complex SQL queries
.    Understanding of SQL concepts including but not limited to the following: Case statements, joins, subqueries, etc.
.    Ability to understand current state by studying project documents, high level requirements and data flow diagrams .
.    Ability to transform, analyze and summarize data using excel, dashboard, or reporting tools.
.    Ability to transform requirements in clear JIRA stories and create test scenarios.
.    Strong excel skills, including ability to run pivots, lookups, etc.
.    Ability to perform QA testing for system enhancements and updates and efficiently work with technology partners
.    Familiarity with mockup and wireframe tools like Balsamiq, LucidCharts, etc.
.    Knowledge and/or experience with data integration tools
Other Desired Skills
.    Strong communication skills to explain complex data/technology/business concepts to diverse audiences.
.    Ability to manage projects, while working in a team and independently.
.    Ability to work with stakeholders, SME, Tech Leads.
.    Critical thinking to solve complex problems.
Other Information:   
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 - $139,300.00.
