Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

We are looking for a Mainframe Developer / Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to design, implement, and maintain mainframe systems that support large-scale enterprise computing. The candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing mainframe environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability. The role involves troubleshooting system issues, supporting business operations, and implementing improvements to optimize mainframe processes.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications and systems.
Configure and manage mainframe environments to support enterprise business operations.
Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security of mainframe systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe system issues and performance bottlenecks.
Implement system enhancements and upgrades to improve efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and system integrations.
Perform system testing, debugging, and maintenance activities.
Ensure adherence to organizational standards, documentation, and best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills

2–5 years of experience in Mainframe development/support.
Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
Experience working with CICS and mainframe batch processing.
Knowledge of mainframe system architecture and operations.
Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of mainframe applications.
Basic understanding of system testing and debugging techniques.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with VSAM, IMS, or other mainframe databases.
Exposure to mainframe modernization or integration with distributed systems.
Knowledge of Agile or DevOps practices in mainframe environments.
Experience with monitoring tools and automation in mainframe systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
