Internship - "Sustainable & Hydroprocessing". (F/M)

Job description

Tasks and activities:

We are looking for an Internship for our Product Line "Sustainable VGO Conversion & Hydroprocessing".

In accordance with Product Line (PL) mission to provide de-carbonization solutions, he/she will be involved in the project to improve PL catalytic Offer for spent-oil upgrading and reuse as Base-Oil.

In this regard he/she will be in charge of:

· Bibliographical research on de-metallization catalyst performances in treating spent-oil.

· Collect spent catalysts analysis obtained from different cycles of Industrial Units.

· Analyze these data with the objective to calculate the retention ability of each catalyst to the different contaminants contained in spent-oil feedstock (MOC calculation).

· Cross-check spent catalyst analysis with real Operating data (feed properties, amount of spent-oil feedstock processed in the cycle, operating temperature).

· Develop a model for correlating catalyst HDM rate and MOC.

Desired profile

Profile :

o Currently in your 2nd or 3rd year of engineer school specialized in Chemical Engineering

o You are looking for a three-months internship.

o You are interested in decarburization solutions and catalysis (de-metallization).

The mission of our Business Division (BD), Technology and Technical Support (T&TS), is to propose to our clients sustainable, low-carbon solutions, which are also efficient in terms of technologies / process, catalysts / adsorbents and services for the whole domains Axens is involved in (Biomass & Oil Hydroprocessing & conversion, Petrochemicals production & purification, Gas and Water Treatment, CO2 capture). T&TS Business Division is responsible for the performance achieved in Axens' clients units and for maintaining the competitiveness of our offer in a very competitive and challenging market.

In this BD, the Product Line Sustainable Conversion & Hydroprocessing, Chemicals Integration is in charge of technologies and products related to the applications Renewable Diesel, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Clean Fuels, Petrochemical Feedstocks and Specialty Products.
