Internship - Olefins Technology and Technical Services (F/M)

Job description

Tasks and activities:

You will be tasked with participating in the development activities of Axens' offer on subjects related to light cuts (C3 & C4) hydrogenations in petrochemicals and refining.

The intern's tasks will be as follows:

· Analyze and interpret industrial feedback from light cuts hydrogenation units in operation.

· Optimize ProII simulations with the issuance of instruction manuals

· Participate in the preparation of technical offers

Desired profile

Profile :

o Chemical Engineering, or Chemical and Process Engineering Student, preferably in the final year, looking for an internship up to 6 months.

o Key relevant skills: Analytical, curious, initiative

o Chemical Engineering Simulation Software knowledge (preferably ProII)

o Excel/Macro/VBA would be a plus

A good level of English is mandatory

Context :

Axens' Technology and Technical Services (TTS) Business Division' mission is to provide advanced technologies, products, and technical services to its customers.The TSS Business division acts as the company's branch to safeguard and develop technical knowledge with respect to the technology (Process Licenses, equipment, etc.) and products (Catalysts, adsorbents, gradings, etc) that it provides to its clients.

The olefins team is looking for an intern to contribute to the its philosophy of continuous improvement, with the position based in Rueil-Malmaison (92), in the suburbs of Paris. The intern will be integrated into the BD TTS Olefins technologists team in a multicultural context.
