Internship - Equipment Projects & Organization (F/M)

Job description

Tasks and activities:

- Gather existing information within Axens on how market actors handle equipment's business

- Update this existing information by researching open sources (corporate websites, presentations at industry events, LinkedIn information…).

- Interview Axens specialists and managers in France and in our other locations (USA, Bahrein, India, Japan, China, Malaysia) to complete the information above.

- Summarize main findings in a report / ppt presentation and share with the corporate team.

Desired profile

Profile :

· Currently in your 2nd or 3rd year of engineer or business school

· You are looking for a three to 6 months internship.

· We are looking for profiles with a genuine interest in industrial processes / technology related topics.

· The mission requires curiosity and ability to research, organizational and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds. It also requires good presentation skills (both software/ppt and verbal presentation)

Context :

Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to supply advanced technologies, basic engineering design, equipment, and plant startup support to its customers. The POP Division manages and delivers projects of the above activities, once the order is taken, to its clients worldwide. The equipment activity consists mainly in specialized proprietary equipment, furnaces, and modular units which Axens is supplying to its clients and which are necessary for them to build their plants, based on our exclusive technology.

We are looking for an intern in the POP Business Division management team, reporting to the Equipment Task Force Manager, with the objective to benchmark equipment operations in the industry and to better understand how industry actors are organizing and handling those key activities. The development of an equipment offering, next to its core technology and catalyst offering, is a strategic priority for the Group.
