Internship - Optimization for Clean fuel processes (F/M)

Job description

Tasks and activities:

In close contact with the process design teams and process specialists, you will work on simulation studies linked to clean fuel processes. Your main missions will be :

• Develop and/or Optimize simulation models for LPG absorption section;
• Develop a model to evaluate the impact on the equipment sizing and operation, with a particular focus on the Operating and Capital Expenses, revenue from LPG export and fuel gas export, calculation on profit etc.
• Depending on progress on the above tasks, you may be involved in other activities linked to process improvement.

Desired profile

Profil :

• Currently in your last year engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering
• You are looking for a 5 to 6 months internship
• You are interested in process simulation tasks and know how to use simulation softwares (Aspen HYSYS®, AVEVA ProIITM).

• You work autonomously, you are rigorous and proactive.
• You are able to set your own targets and organize your work adequately.
• A good level of English is mandatory.

Context :

Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies, basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers. We are looking for an intern for the POP Process Department. In the Process Department we work on basic engineering projects and Modular Units Projects development for our customers but also on new technologies development. Axens portfolio include several processes which enter in the gasoline production. These processes need to be continuously improved to be more and more economical for our clients and to also reduce their carbon footprint.

In order to improve one of our technologies involved in clean fuel production, we are looking for an intern to work on simulation optimization studies. The intern will be also in charge to make economical evaluation to assess the scheme improvement.
