Job description
We are seeking bright, energetic, and motivated individuals for a summer internship within the Chief Operating Office at Allianz Life. This internship offers a comprehensive experience, focusing on supporting IT, operational excellence, transformation initiatives, and business analysis through various project initiatives. Interns will gain valuable exposure to the diverse functions of the Chief Operating Office and insights into Allianz as a business.
What You Do:
- Support IT Service Management: Assist in establishing and enhancing various IT service management functions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Develop Business Requirements: Collaborate on building detailed business requirements for diverse projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Communicate Technical Processes: Effectively communicate processes across a variety of technical projects, facilitating understanding and execution.
- Engage in Specialized Projects: Contribute to PowerBI report creation, Agile transformation, automation, and other impactful projects.
What You Bring:
- Educational Pursuit: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Business or Operations Management.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with technologies and tools such as PowerBI and Excel, with a foundational understanding of their applications.
- Knowledge of Development Methodologies: Some understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and process improvement techniques like Lean and Six Sigma.
- Project Management Insight: Partner in efforts to understand project management within the Transformation Strategy Execution Office.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in group project initiatives that span multiple functions, fostering teamwork and innovation.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable with data and business process analysis, and skilled in translating insights into visual representations for clarity and impact.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
Job posting range $20/hr - $24/hr
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
